Since 2010, Neil is the founder and Managing Broker for Exit This Way Consulting, a private mid-market mergers and acquisitions firm with world headquarters based in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Mr. Thomson graduated from BCIT in Computer Science and the University of Calgary's Business Administration faculty. He holds the highest designation in the brokerage industry of Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI) by the M&A Source and also holds the designation of Lifetime Certified Business Intermediary (Lifetime CBI) by the International Business Brokers Association – IBBA. He is a licensed BC Managing Broker for Trading Services, and a member of Global Fitness & Racquets playing tennis and pickleball.

Addison Bazian, Bcom

Addison joined ETWC as a Partner in 2024, bringing extensive experience from his role as Head of Client Services, North America, at Canid Inc., a leading health technology software company in New York City.

He focuses on sell-side M&A for privately held companies in wholesale distribution, construction, and manufacturing, guiding business owners through complex exits with confidence and clarity. An accomplished advisor, Addison has successfully sold multiple businesses, giving him a practical, founder-first perspective on every transaction. He is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, where he majored in Entrepreneurship.

Outside of work, Addison enjoys running, travelling, and waterskiing.

Rob Shouldice, CPA (Candidate)

Rob joined ETWC as a Partner after spending nearly a decade owning his own businesses and as Manager of Financial Operations, North America, Canid Inc., a leading health tech software business located in New York City.

Rob is focused on sell-side M&A transactions in Western Canada for privately owned companies in the manufacturing and distribution sectors, and is dedicated to helping like-minded business owners navigate a seamless exit. With extensive first-hand experience in building and selling multiple businesses, Rob has a deep, nuanced understanding of the mergers and acquisitions process. As a CPA Candidate, Rob brings a strong financial background which compliments his operational expertise.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys golfing, running, and cycling, which helps him maintain a balanced and active lifestyle.
